God’s Multi-Dimensional Communication

 

We serve a God who is constantly speaking, but His voice isn't always a sound; often, it is a sight.  Biblical communication happens in two distinct dimensions: the Vision and the Dream. While the world might dismiss these as mere imagination or subconscious firing, the believer recognizes them as divine interruptions.

 

To walk in restoration is to have your spiritual eyes opened to see what the natural world cannot perceive.  Whether through a "waking blueprint" or a "nightly instruction," God uses these revelations to guide us into our purpose and shield us from the unknown.

 

 

PART I: THE OPEN EYE (VISIONS)

 

1. The Blueprint for Destiny

 

• Proverbs 29:18

  "Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he."

 

• The Concept: Vision is more than an idea; it is a spiritual requirement for survival. A vision acts as a "spiritual north star," showing you the finished "house" of your restored life while you are still working on the foundation.

 

• Key Takeaway: When you can see the victory clearly in your spirit, you gain the supernatural strength to endure the physical struggle.

 

 

2. Strategic Coordination

 

• Acts 10:3-6

  "He distinctly saw a vision of an angel of God... 'Your prayers and gifts to the poor have come up as a memorial offering before God. Now send men to Joppa...'"

 

• The Concept: Visions are God’s way of aligning your path with the people, resources, and opportunities you need. They provide the "who, what, and where" that your logical mind might not yet understand.

   

• Key Takeaway: A vision is often a call to immediate, strategic action. It is God’s perspective breaking into your natural sight to coordinate your next move.

 

 

3. The Mandate to Record

 

• Habakkuk 2:2-3

  "Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it."

 

• The Concept: Because visions are often for a future season, they must be recorded. When God gives you a "snapshot" of your future, writing it down "makes it plain" and creates a legal document in the spirit that you can point to when things get difficult.

PART II: THE SACRED REST (DREAMS)

 

1. The Promise of Communication

 

• Joel 2:28

  "I will pour out my Spirit on all people... your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions."

 

• The Concept: God explicitly promises that dreams will be a primary way the Holy Spirit interacts with us. It is a gift for the entire family of believers.

 

 

2. Divine Warnings & Protection

 

• Job 33:14-18

  "For God does speak... in a dream... He may speak in their ears and terrify them with warnings, to turn them from wrongdoing... to preserve them from the pit."

 

• The Concept: Many have found that a "warning dream" serves as a spiritual alarm clock. These dreams can feel intense, but they are an act of supreme mercy—designed to shield your soul from a trap you didn't see coming.

 

• Key Takeaway: If you wake up with a heavy sense of caution, do not ignore it. It is an invitation to pray and change course.

 

 

3. Direction for the Future

 

• Matthew 2:13

  "An angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream. 'Get up,' he said, 'take the child and his mother and escape to Egypt.'"

 

• The Concept: Just as Joseph’s dreams saved the life of Jesus, God can give you strategic "intel" in a dream to protect your family and your business.

 

 

To steward these revelations, we must be diligent to test everything against the Word of God and record everything in a spiritual journal. By valuing the voice of God in both the day and the night, you ensure that your path remains illuminated. You are no longer walking in the dark; you are walking with the Great Interpreter who is eager to lead you, warn you, and show you the mysteries of His Kingdom.
